I Have a tuxedo Cat Named Bootze. I bought her shortly after my other cat died ( mamma Cat) who was also a Tuxedo. Bootze is the name we found when we first bought her at the shelter. At first I wanted to name her Starburst because that was my favorite candy but bootze fit her perfectly. My cat is gorgeouss & smart. Pure as snow white "boots" paws/legs along with Dark fur. Im currently studying at Sacred heart University I miss my Tux cat more then anything.. she is so smart & independant i strongly recommend some one buying this type of cat. They make they best pets and friends

Wow, I bet you do miss her. My daughter's friend rented a house with 3 other college buddies so they could each have thier kitties with them. I guess you could say it is really a house full of party animals. Also full of very happy, spoiled kitties. Hopefully you will get to see Bootze during the holidays.
I love Fatso's story too. I have an all white cat that does the whole stalking lion thing too. He is a large, lean cat and can really pull it off.

She looks gorgeous. I envy you. My Tuxedo Cat, Fatso who looked like he was wearing a real Tux with white boots, passed away and I'm still grieving for him. He was extremely intelligent, very curious, and was not afraid. On one occasion, friend of ours brought with her a small poodle. I watched Fatso walk from one end of the living room toward the dog. He really looked like a lion going into combat: eyes steady and aimed at the dog and his tail swishing from side to side. He was like a gun fighter walking toward a shoot out. The poor poodle started to whimper and had to be picked up. But he had a soft side as well, I watched him invite a stray Mama cat with several kittens in tow obviously hungry into the house. He was leading the way and would stop and turn side ways to let the Mama know its OK. But when Mama saw me, she and the brood ran off.
