Cat Adoption Stories

I love reading about cat adoption stories. It always warms my heart to learn about how cats and their humans found each other. Adoptions take some thinking and planning but they are so rewarding.

Adopting a cat can be quite an adventure, too. Some even say that it is the cat who adopts you and not the other way around.

My family and I adopted Max and Mia almost twelve years ago (they are siblings), and they have filled our lives with love, laughter, and fun ever since. They are very much a part of our family. I cannot imagine my life without my two furry babies.

So, do you have an adoption story to tell? How did you find your kitty? Was your cat young or old when you adopted him? Did you adopt only one cat or an entire feline family?

Some people adopt their kitties from shelters. Others come through friends or acquaintances. Some cats find their way to their human family in unexpected ways. Case in point: one of my friend’s cats followed him home!

Our cats came from one of my sister’s coworkers – an avid animal lover who gave mama cat a nice spot in her house to have her kittens. This lady made sure every kitty (including mama cat) found a new home.
