Presley my tuxedo cat

Presley is my tuxedo kitty that i rescued from the streets. He is so very handsome and has grown into a wonderful adult cat. He has such a great tuxedo and the longest legs. Presley even has an extensive bow-tie collection of many designs and colors. He is so, so so,very precious!!!! I never would want any harm to come his way and trained him to walk on a leash. He even scratches at the door or tries to turn the handle. He acts so much like a dog. When we walk to the creek he enjoys jumping rocks in the creek. he also has a special friend, peewee who joins us for our walks and visits often. he is an old barn cat. We love his company!

Presley can do many things like fetch his mouse, he also loves to climb really, really high. I can go on and on. He amazes me more and more each day. At times when I get busy on the computer he will drop his favorite mouse directly on my computer keys. Also will get next to me and pull at my shoulder with his paw luring me away from computer wanting something. The vet thinks he has the shiniest coat and asked what i feed him. He is crazy about Presley. I am so glad we found one another.

I may have rescued him from the streets but he also rescued me from loneliness. He is here for a reason and I am glad of it. I would post a photo but have not learned that part on my computer.

A real prince!

I loved your story about Presley! He sounds like a delightful fellow to have around.

My white cat Star likes to be in the office with me when I'm working at my computer too. (I have a home office and work from home.) When she thinks I've worked enough, she starts talking to me and telling me "let's do something different!" If I don't pay any attention then she will rub up against my leg and lick my leg to get my attention. It works: that always gets her noticed because her little rough tongue tickles! If I have to keep working, she then goes to her "teepee" and takes a nap while I continue to slave away.

Aren't cats wonderful! She's the best company. Thanks for sharing your story of Presley the Tuxedo Cat ... I hope you can get a picture posted. I'd love to see him!

Presley, a star in his own right

Hi Bett,
Sure enjoyed reading about your special tuxedo cat, Presley. He sounds like an all-around "cool cat" and a lot of fun and company for you. I had a special cat much like him, once long ago and far away, but will never forget him. Long live the Tuxedos!!!

Hi Bett,

How wonderful that you're able to walk your cat on a leash! My cats (who are strictly indoor cats) get so scared when I take them out to the vet. I haven't tried training them to walk on a leash though. One of my friends trained her cat since he was little and he loves it.

Presley is so smart, but I'm not surprised. Tuxedo cats are said to be smarter than your average cat. Thank you for sharing his story, and hopefully we'll see a picture of him soon.
