I found him at work, I work Security for an apartment and found him half starved. I picked him up and carried him around for a good ten minutes and tried to come up with an idea to keep him contained. I knew if I locked him in he gym or the bathroom he could do some damage or make a mess and it wasn't worth it. I looked in the dumpster areas to look for a good size box that I could tape and keep him in until I got off my shift. All found was a small box and it would have been too cruel so I let him go. I got off work and saw he was still hiding where I had left him and I picked him up and took him home. I wormed him and fattened him up. Last week he ran away but today he came home and I was brought to joy and greatly relieved for fear I would never find him or worse he would die in the cold rain. So today I plan on buying him a pet tag and then I need to get him neutered and chipped.
He is a wonderful cat and is great with my two daughters and I am sure he will be just as good with you upcoming 3rd daughter when she is old enough to play with him.
