Teddy Bearz started off very long at a young age. The picture on the bed was at 5 months. The fireplace picture is 10 months. And the door picture is 12 months. And he has grown a lot in the last 4 months. Especially in height. In his youth he reminded me of a slinky dog until he gained some height. LOL... You really can't tell how long he is until he is sprawled out vs all bunched up while sitting. So it is difficult to get decent pics that show how big he really is. I will try to get a more recent "long shot".

Just posted an update for Teddy Bearz with some recent pics. (Although a bit later than I intended.) My does time fly. Teddy Bearz did get his little playmate. Her name is Sasha Fierce and she is a Maine Coon also. Teddy Bearz really was lonely for some Maine Coon company. I am very happy I did this.

Sasha Fierce is a fitting name. She has no fear! Bold and beautiful. But holding true to the MC breed, not a mean bone in her body. When I met her the day that I picked her up, she jumped up to my face, held it tenderly with both paws, and kissed me on the lips like 50 times! How unusual is that! Maines Coons are truely a spectacular breed!

Hi Cecilia,

So glad to hear about Teddy Bearz. He must be much bigger now! And I'm pretty sure he has a gorgeous face.

I'd definitely love to see new pictures of him. Just start a new page with the new pics and I will merge it with this one (unless you want to keep them separate - if you do I can link them both).

Just thought it was time for an update. My handsome boy is 1 1/2 years old and still sprouting. LOL... And I would like to throw in a few face shots. You would be amazed at how gorgeous his face is. And always has been. (Not just ones that show his length.) I really should have posted some face shots in the first place. Is there a way I can post more recent pics? Or do I start a new page?

Anyways Teddy Bearz is getting a new playmate. He needs another Maine Coon with a similar energy level.

Hi Cecilia,

I must say WOW, what a beautiful cat. The Maine Coon is one of the oldest natural cat breeds and one of the largest. And I'm partial to big cats, so I just love your Teddy Bearz.

My next door neighbor has a couple of solid white Maine Coons and they are just gorgeous. Teddy Bearz is so beautiful, I especially love his long and fluffy tail. Thank you so much for sharing his story and picture.

Thanx for your sweet comments Merlins Mom. Actually he is quite the "looker" also. I was mainly trying to show his length.

You may want to get a MC someday. They are truely special and will change your life! Oh and they have such zest for life and having a good time. They are fun to watch. Teddy Bearz acts just like an innocent and sweet child. And has never scratched, bitten, growed, or hissed.

When he wants to play with my other cats, he runs over to them and taps them on their head then runs. LOL....

He even has a toy basket that he rummages through. Just like a wide eyed child! Sometimes I will hold one toy up at a time while I check his face for approval. And he just stands there intently watching for what sparks his interest.

Teddy Bearz is also obsessed with peek-a-boo, He will play it every chance he gets. I will peek my head around a doorway while saying peek-a-boo. Then he jumps out of hiding right in front of my face and startles me. He always waits until a surprise is certain.

Ilove Maine Coon's. They are just so awesome. I've never owned one because I always get rescues and Mine Coon's don't show up often in shelters in my area.(That's probably a good thing.) I really love the pics. Thanks for sharing.
