The post office? Really?

So one Sunday I wake up and go up stairs like normal, I thought it smelt like cat litter but we didn't have any cats, I told my older sister and she pretended to laugh (I could tell it was fake.). Well anyways, later that day when I got home from church my dad called a family meeting and I was just thinking about what I had done when my dad said "We have a new family member" and I was thinking in my head 'oh no, another sibling.' but then my older sister comes in with a beautiful tuxedo cat, I recognized it the second I saw it as a tuxedo because, well it looked like it was wearing a tuxedo! Ok so, I asked them where they got him and my dad said "well, I was in the post office Last night about at midnight and he was just sitting in the middle of the post office, no one else was there so I we thought we'd keep him until someone answers the found cat posters we put up." I was shocked thAt they had found him in the post office. We named him D. B. Cooper and it's been years and no one has claimed him so I guess he's ours! He is the smartest cat I've ever met! He can open doors, drawers and cabinets he jumps up and can turn on lights, he turns on my heater every night and lays in front of it and can even do tricks like sit, hug, come, stay, meow, fetch, etc... Lol, that's my story about my cute tuxedo cat!

First Class, All The Way!

I LOVED you story about D.B. Cooper! (Is he called D.B. or Coop?) As I read your story I could almost see that beautiful tuxedo cat sitting in the post office waiting for your dad to come in and take him home!

He sounds like a really special fellow and I'm so glad he found your family for his own family!

A wonderful delivery

What a wonderful story.

It always amazes me to learn that cats come to us in such unexpected ways. I'm so happy that your dad found D. B. Cooper (or should I say, he found your dad?), and that now he's a beloved member of your family.

He sounds like he's a handful. And he's so smart, too. Now my question is, what was D. B. Cooper doing at the post office?
